The lamp is crafted using traditional Moroccan metalwork, known as dinanderie — an ancestral craft where the artisan shapes, chisels, and pierces the metal entirely by hand, without any industrial machinery. Each piece requires hours of patient work, from forming to final polishing. The small variations between lamps are the mark of a truly handmade creation and the guarantee of a unique object.

We select raw brass or a quality silver-tin alloy for their durability, ability to reflect light, and warm, diffused glow. The metal is hammered to create texture, pierced one pattern at a time, the edges softened and the surface hand-polished. This contrast between outer shine and inner glow gives the lamp its distinctive character and a tranquil aura typical of Moroccan interiors.

Depending on your space, the lamp’s height can be adjusted in consultation with the artisan to achieve the desired light diffusion. The goal remains the same: to offer an elegant, lasting ambiance lighting piece that stays true to Moroccan craftsmanship.
